Good evening,
The VeryGames.net update have been done sucessfully this morning without any problems.
We raised a new basis last December, with the launch of a new VeryGames.net website.
Tens of thousands of lines of code have been completely rewrited, the structure of our database completely redesigned, and all the scripts that run the services have been adapted.
All required the full time work of several people for over 6 months!
Today we have just set up the first major upgrade of the new VeryGames site.
And as promised, here is a summary of innovations, which are for the most part, from the comments of our customers (that we appreciate).
1) Homepage redesigned
The size of the elements of the home page have been reduced: smaller banner, smaller frames, smaller fonts...
The goal was both to show more content, and also to gain clarity.
Modules were introduced, such as the list of newsletters sent, a graph of connected players, and the list of accepted payment methods.
2) Customer web panel redesigned
In December, we introduced a system of buttons for direct access to each features of various services.
Very intuitive, we have kept the system improving. The buttons are organized into 3 main categories:
- Config
- Services
- Maintenance
And new features have emerged:
- "Console Logs" are available again, useful to debug a crash
- you can now check your disk space with a graph
- and ex for DediGames informs you about the load of your cores (0 for very lightly loaded, 5 for overloaded)
3) New store system
We wanted to make the store system more clear and ergonomic.
For example, a menu appear on the left, with all the offered services.
Comparisons have been created to better understand the differences between our offers.
A listing of the shopping cart is available on the right, which allows a quick overview of the pending purchase.
When ordering, choice system for options / slots / durations has been improved.
4) Merging of the verygames.de website
The verygames.de website is no more!
All our customers use now a single site.
This means that to rent a service that will be hosted in Germany, everybody must now use the www.verygames.net site.
And now ?
Our goal is to provide our services in several countries in the coming months.
All our work the last 18 months is along these project.
We will start by providing DediGames in Germany in the next days.
England will follow, and then other European countries.
We will then propose international offers.
Of course, we will also continue to improve the customer panel with new features!
